The April edition of TCN magazine will mark our 5th birthday!

Monday March 8th

Thornton Library

Do you ever go into a room then you can't remember why? Then we have just the right remedy. "What did I come in here for" by Ruth Owens is a light-hearted talk about memory. It aims to explain why memory loss may happen and recommend food and activities that can help improve your memory. The talk is from 11-12 noon with a short break for refreshments.

Thornton Cleveleys Horticultural Society Lecture & Slideshow

Planning and designing borders - Marguerite Hughes from Preston. Held at Thornton Little Theatre, Four Lane Ends, Thornton from 7.30pm - 9.30pm. Cost: Non-members £2.00, Members £1.50.

Wyre Home Organ Society

Electric organ concert given by a professional guest player at Ashley Conservative Club, Victoria Road East, Thornton. Time: 7.45pm to 10.30pm. Members £4.00, Visitors £5.00.

We are holding a special Spring Cleaning Toddler rhyme session. Stories and activities with a Spring cleaning theme. 10-10.45am. Watch out for our colouring competition to win a prize.

St Aidans School Easter Bingo

7pm start – FREE admission. Bingo game books £1 EACH. Raffle, Refreshments and lots of Chocolate! Come along & bring a friend.


Saturday 27th March

Spring Fair

Spring fair held at Red Marsh School, Holly Road, Thornton-Cleveleys to raise funds towards the running cost of the school mini bus. There will be an easter egg tombola, raffle, bingo, gift stall and childrens games. 10am - 12pm. Entry: 25p.
