R K FENCING
First up, a big thanks to you for all the effort you put in to make each issue of the TCN a ‘must’ read (and a glowing comment like that from my dad is praise indeed!). He’s 89 and has asked me to pass on these few words after he had a fence replaced by one of your advertisers. “I’m chuffed to little apples over a grand job RK Fencing have just done for me. They got everything right. The price was right. The job was right. Nothing was too much trouble and they did a right good clean up at the end.
Thanks - Jack”

EDDIE’S ELECTRICAL
We recently had our house re wired and searching for an electrician to do such a job in your house is quiet a big task, We eventually chose a company out of your magazine as we had noticed they had been in there a while and we are glad we did as they did a fantastic job. Rewired the full house in 5 days, clean up after thereselves every night and were reasonably priced. The electricians we used were Eddie's Electrical and we would recommend them to anyone without hesitation. Thanks for producing a great local magazine every month, keep up the good work

WINDMILL KNIT ‘N’ STITCH
Thank you Anne and Barbara for the help and encouragement you happily gave to me recently when I undertook, with trepidation, my latest knitting venture. The jacket is now finished, the yarn is soft and warm, lovely buttons too, and has been much admired by friends and family, especially the recipient, my grand-daughter.

CRAIG COOPER
I had reason to contact, Craig, who doesn't put his name in his ad. but advert reads, 'Your computer fixed for £29 or pay nothing'. I had reason to call him and not only is his timekeeping exceptional but the service is also and he wouldn't stop until the problem was sorted, and despite having to return because it wasn't, wouldn't charge any more than £20, O.A.P. rate. A fantastic service and if repeated in the country I don't think we would be in the mess we are!!!!!

DAVID ALDRED
We found ourselves in need of a qualified craftsman to undertake some urgent repairs to our kitchen floor. I saw the advert for Mr. David Aldred in your July issue. We contacted him and found him to be efficient and very professional. He completed the work to a very high standard. A local man well worth recommending.

WISHY WASHY WINDOWS
and
JUSTIN BREARLEY
I know you like feedback when we use tradesmen who advertise in TCN. Over the past few months we have used two. First Wishy Washy Windows who came to clear and clean gutterings and barge boards. The young lad quoted a very fair price and did the job very well. I would happily recommend his services. The second was Justin Brearley. We needed a replacement radiator and rang Justin. It seems almost impossible to get a plumber these days so it was with some surprise that he agreed to come the very next working day (we rang on a Friday). He appeared at precisely the time he said he would come, gave a rough quote which we accepted and said he would contact us when he had all the necessary bits and pieces. (Our old radiator was imperial but all the new ones are metric which meant some extensions were needed). Two days later, having again arrived at the agreed time, the job was done! Top class service. Hope this is of help.
Regards, Titch Little

JEFF DUGDALE
I would like to nominate Jeff Dugdale as one of your tradesmen of the month. I recently had my back garden flagged, by Jeff, and am so pleased with the result. Throughout the process, Jeff was always punctual, courteous, and kept me informed about the work. Everywhere was left tidy every night, and when the work was finished, he was conscientious enough to come back late one evening to cover the flags with blankets to stop the mortar going off. I would recommend Jeff to anybody, and will be having more garden work done in the not too far distant future myself. My garden looks amazing, thanks to Jeff.
